@Mohamed: Thanks, But I have come across this link before and Basic authentication is enabled on EWS Vdir. @Steve: Actually this is a new Exchange 2010 SP2 Rollup1 setup coexisting with Exchange 2003. Of the mailboxes I have moved so far, this is the first Mac user using Outlook 2011 and facing this problem. I have one more user using Entourage 2007 (Web service edition, I guess) and it is working fine for him. Also, to give you more idea this is a HA setup with 2 CAS server participating in Array, behind Hardware Load Balancers, don't think if that matters. I have run the test using RCA and found following error: We have AD structure like Forest Name a.COM, DOMAIN1 b.com, domain2 c.com, exchange 2010 is installed in b.com and below problem comes always for user at c.com. More confusing is that issue is not always same, sometime it fails at creating items, cometime at deleing items. The MAC user who is having issue is also in c.com. If I run EWS test for user at b.com it gets passed most of the time. After Autodiscover: Ensuring that the test mailbox folder is empty and accessible. ExRCA successfully confirmed that the folder is accessible and empty. Creating and deleting items in the user's Inbox to confirm synchronization changes. While it is possible to configure Outlook 2011 without an Autodiscover record, it is not recommended to do so.In addition to limiting higher functions of Exchange Mail, in the case of Outlook 2011 for Mac it can result in program instability, and email delay. Dec 16, 2016 Describes an issue in which Outlook 2011 for Mac doesn't automatically set up your email server settings for Exchange Online in Office 365. Free code review tool for mac java software. Provides resolutions. Make sure that the correct email address is entered in the Auto Account Setup window. Synchronization changes couldn't be confirmed. Test Steps ExRCA is retrieving synchronization changes and confirming them against expected values. Items were retrieved successfully and changes confirmed. Additional Details ExRCA retrieved the initial SyncState. A new mail item is being created. The attempt to create an item failed. Additional Details Exception details: Message: The request failed. The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. Hi, Outlook configuration is correct. Following errors in the logs.
